At Broadmead Community Church, we want young people to feel valued, supported and fully part of our church family. Our youth activities provide a safe and welcoming space to build friendships, have fun, ask questions and discover more about the Christian faith.
Through regular groups, events, activities and time spent together, we encourage young people to grow in confidence, explore what it means to follow Jesus and develop a faith of their own. Our youth team is committed to supporting them through the opportunities and challenges of growing up.

We run youth sessions most Sundays for 11-18 year olds during the morning Sunday gathering.

These sessions are about fun, faith and family.
We spend time playing games, studying the Bible, having group discussions and praying and worshipping together.
We study relevant and current issues facing our young people aiming to equip them week by week as they go into their communities, schools and colleges.

XLR8 is a social group which runs fortnightly on Sunday evenings, 7-8:30pm.

XLR8 is a social group which runs fortnightly on Sunday evenings, 7-8:30pm.
It is open to all young people in years 10-13.
Here we love to relax at the end of our week, catching up, quizzing and playing games. When the weather is good, we sometimes go to the local park to buy ice cream and play games together.

Mentors are available to catch up with young people, to chat with them and pray with them.
